I am a furniture designer, maker and artist. Primarily working in wood and bamboo, I invite you to consider how the things I make facilitate interpersonal exchange, relationships, and growth.

As functional objects, I hope to suggest the commonality of our basic human needs. As sculpture, I believe they celebrate materials and the intrinsic variety of qualities these materials contain.

As a Taiwanese American born in Philadelphia, I value diversity and understanding. I hope to encourage these ideals through the objects I make. From the platform of Studio Furniture, everyday functional objects take on the potential for conceptual content. With this in mind, I often work with weaving and binding as a metaphor for cultural reconciliation.
